What changes the price

A range is not evasion. The same treatment genuinely costs different amounts on different teeth, and the honest thing is to say why rather than quote one number and revise it in the chair.

Tooth position matters: a front tooth with one root canal is quicker than a molar with three or four, and a molar with splayed or curved roots is slower to extract than a loose incisor. Material matters too — a metal crown, a zirconia crown and a porcelain veneer are three different laboratory bills. So does how much tooth is left to rebuild, and whether X-rays are needed to see what is happening below the gum.

Where a treatment needs something else first — a root canal before a crown, an extraction before a denture, scaling before whitening — that is quoted as a separate line, not folded in quietly.

Which tooth

Front, premolar or molar. Number of canals, number of roots, and how easy the tooth is to reach.

Which material

Metal, porcelain-fused-to-metal, zirconia, composite or flexible nylon. Each has a different laboratory cost.

What it takes to see it

X-rays, and the extra time a re-treatment, a curved canal or a deeply broken-down tooth demands.

No surprises

What is always included

Three things are inside every price on this page, whatever the treatment.

The consultation and examination

Your first look, the diagnosis and the discussion of options. You are not charged separately for being told what is wrong.

A written treatment plan

The full cost in writing before an instrument is picked up. It does not move afterwards unless you agree to a change first.

The follow-up check

The review appointment after treatment, and the adjustments that go with a new denture, crown or filling.
