Three women dentists — no need to ask for a lady dentist in advance

Plenty of women in Rawalpindi would prefer to be treated by a female dentist, and plenty of families would prefer it for their wives, mothers and daughters. It is a reasonable thing to want, and it is usually awkward to ask for.

Here you do not have to ask. Every clinician at this practice is a woman, so whichever day you come and whoever is on the chair, the answer is already yes.

Three women, all BDS-qualified

Dr Fatima, Dr Linta Gulraiz and Dr Bazlah Sameen. No male clinician will be treating you, on any day of the week.

Same standard of care, fewer reasons to put it off

A dentist being a woman does not make the dentistry different. It is the same BDS training, the same instruments, the same autoclave cycle between every patient. What it changes is how easy the appointment is to book in the first place.

We see patients who have carried a painful tooth for months because the visit itself felt like the harder problem. If that is the reason a check-up keeps getting postponed in your household, this is one fewer thing to negotiate.

Bring whoever you want with you. Ask to see a particular dentist. Ask us to stop halfway through and explain what we are doing. None of that is unusual here.

Frequently asked questions

Are all of your dentists women?

Yes. Dr Fatima, Dr Linta Gulraiz and Dr Bazlah Sameen are all women and all BDS-qualified. Whichever day you come in, a female dentist will treat you.

Do you have a lady dentist available?

Yes — every dentist here is a woman, so whenever you come you will be seen by one. There is no need to request a lady dentist when you book, and no chance of turning up to find only a male dentist on duty.

Can I ask for a particular dentist?

Yes. Tell us who you would like to see when you book on WhatsApp and we will arrange your appointment around her schedule wherever we can.

Do you have a female surgeon for extractions?

Yes. Dr Linta Gulraiz is a Resident Maxillofacial Surgeon pursuing FCPS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, so surgical extractions, wisdom teeth and implant surgery are handled in-house by a woman.

Can I book for my wife, mother or daughter?

Of course, and a good number of our appointments are booked this way. Send us her name and the problem on WhatsApp and we will confirm a time with you.

Can someone come in with me?

Yes. You are welcome to bring whoever you like, and they can stay with you during the appointment if that makes the visit easier.

Do you have evening appointments?

We are open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with a Friday prayer break from 12:30 to 3:00 PM, and closed on Sunday. The later slots are popular with working women and with families coming together, so it helps to book a day or two ahead.
